Our family couldn’t be more thankful for our experience at Ann Arbor Hills. The school is everything you could hope for your child’s first experience with school. The teachers and staff truly take the time and effort to make sure each child has a great experience and is set up for success. The kind, compassionate and nurturing teachers know the value of connecting with each student and they build the relationships that allow kids to thrive at school. Whether you are a student or a parent, the community you feel when you are at AAHCDC is incredibly welcoming and supportive. My children are so happy to walk through the doors of Ann Arbor Hills each day, and as parents, we could not feel more at ease when they a re there. This school is magical.

In our family, we refer to AAHCDC as our “Happy Place”. The staff and teachers have a contagious passion for early childhood learning, and our four year old wakes up every morning and asks if it is a “school day”. He can’t wait to see his friends and teachers! AAHCDC is a place that genuinely cultivates a passion for learning within the students and we are thrilled to have our children there to start their educational journey. We know they will be challenged, championed and loved during our years here.

If my son could go to Ann Arbor Hills CDC until College, he would. He has grown so much in the 3 years at AAHCDC. He is a naturally quiet and reserved kid, but he has always loved school. AAHCDC teachers and staff have been incredible in meeting him where he is comfortable but also pulling him out of his shell, fostering his love for education, art, and music, providing structure which helps him feel comfortable and supported, but also time to explore the joy of play. He’s now so proud to be graduating with a whole group of friends and teachers that he loves (something we never imagined possible), and is not just ready, but excited about Kindergarten. And my wife and I feel comfortable he’ll thrive through that transition
