The Bear Class is a wonderful space to start the preschool experience. Children in this classroom are mastering separation and should be developmentally ready to come to school for a minimum of two mornings/week.

Many of the goals in this space are to learn how to be in the physical space of the classroom. They are learning to work and play parallel with peers. The routine of the school day is an important part of being a Bear. The routine is age appropriate and predictable providing a calm and comforting space where children are encouraged to become increasingly autonomous throughout the school year.
